How is Scotty McGreery doing with is new career in the Country Music aftrer American Idol? Well the winner of Ameican Idol would have had their first song published right away, and it was the song he sang on the second last night of the show. Scotty sang "I Love You This Big", which became the first highest charting debut song for a new artist in over 20 years! The first time it was heard on the radio was may 24, and came in at number 32 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The song also hit number 3 on Billboards Digitral songs chart with 171,404 units sold, and number one on iTunes.
Scotty definately accomplished so much in such a short time. From the first day of his audition, I couldn't wait myself to hear his voice the following week, wondering what is he giong to sing next? For such a young kid, at age 16 auditioning, and turning 17 during American Idol, he sure has a career ahead of him, and he deserves it with that wonderful voice of his. I believe after watching American Idol for at least 6 years now, this is the first year that I am so happy for the one person I have wanted to win, and he acually did win. I can't wait to hear what song he will be singing next, and I really can't wait to buy that first CD. Good Luck Scotty!

week 4 anylisis
On American Idol this year, Steven Tyler was one of the three judges. At first Steven didn't really want to be a judge. He wasn't that crazy about American Idol in the first place. Steve quotes, " I never wanted to do american Idol, this show sucks. How can kids be (an) American Idol? They haven't played clubs, they haven't paid their dues, they haven't done what we did," the legendary rocker goes on to explain, adding, " I was wrong, they are out there, we just have to wade through a bunch of them".
When Steven first heard Lauren sing, he was amazed right from the start on how her voice just sang, and never had problems hitting the notes. From the day Lauren auditioned, she was always Stevens favorite.

Even though I love the show American Idol, there are many people that don’t see the show exciting as I do. But if they gave it a chance they really might like to watch it. Look how Steven Tyler didn’t like the show at first but he gave it a chance especially by being a judge, but he ended up liking the show after all. You won’t know if you don’t like American Idol unless you give it a try.

Week 3 Analysis
I first started watching American Idol about 5 years ago, but who were all the winners from season 1-10? Season 1 Kelly Clarkson was the first winner for American Idol. If your a country fan, you can see her all the time performing. Season 2 was Ruben Studdard. Season 3 was Fantasia Barrino. I do hear about these first three winners, they are all doing well! Season 4 was Carrie Underwood, another country singer, she is very well known. Season 5 was Taylor Hicks, I do believe this is the season I started watching, because I wasn't to happy with Taylor, I dont really hear anything about his career. Season 6 was Jordan Sparks. Season 7 David Cook, which I really like him, but this wass when Chris Daughtry was voted off last 4, he was my favorite and is doing very well, along with David Cook. Kris Allen was Season 8, this year was tough because Adam Lambert had a great voice. Season 9 the winner was Lee DeWyze and of course Season 10 the winner is Scott McCreery at age 17, the youngest of all winners and a country singer.
